SON SHINE 398: COMFORTLESS

She sat helpless inside the small car unable at this public hospital to turn the tide as life ebbed from the patient she came with. A medical staff only managed a short conversation after which she was left alone. Then she started to sob humming a chorus that sounded more like a dirge in an expression of a wish that appeared unrealisable. With the place brimming with the sick and those made sick by the condition of loved ones, no one offered her a shoulder to lean on.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” – Revelation 21: 4 (KJV)

There will be no crying there.

SON SHINE 397: RELIABLE

Her word was her bond and those who worked with her knew where she was at any point in time. While others in similar positions tended to work only where there was money to be made she had gotten so used to honesty and hard work that she refused to be de-motivated by those who wore the label of role models only as badges that meant nothing.

 “And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” – Job 1: 8 (KJV)

So, what is God saying about you?

SON SHINE 396: ETERNITY

The dome-like formation took on a sky blue hue on an endless row stretching as far as the eyes, while another column had an ashy tint which faded over the still waters of what looked like a river beneath. As the pilot announced the aircraft’s impending descent, dark grey clouds jumped from the blues tainting the ethereal beauty of glimpses of unfolding eternity. We were again touching base with the harsh realities of the world no one ironically wanted to leave anytime soon.

 “And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;” – Revelation 21: 10-11 (KJV )

There is going to be a meeting beyond the skies;

SON SHINE 395: INTERIM DIVIDEND

The two tenants struggled to park their cars at this choice spot by the wall of their compound till one of them eventually prevailed and drove his new car there.

By the following morning, the picture of the choice spot had changed. Overnight the fence collapsed and severely damaged the car of the tenant who won the argument.

 “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” – Galatians 5: 16 (KJV)

Victory is about who won the war, not the argument.

SON SHINE 394: MENTAL RECLAMATION

The mental case had for 20 years defied solution and it was a native doctor who eventually referred the man to a medical doctor and minister of the gospel declaring confidently that he will be healed when he gets there.  The minister took the afflicted man to his hospital office and confidently spoke the Word of healing. He was instantly healed and regained his mind.

 “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” – Psalms 107: 20 (KJV)

In 2012, the Word will work wonders in someone’s life.
