It was now dusk and even the most enthusiastic conversations had lost steam giving way to speculations at this traditional marriage. The bride now quite worried and not knowing what happened to her fiancé was on edge. But the change was dramatic when the bridegroom’s family entourage arrived. There was little talk on what caused the long delay as the ceremony commenced and ended with some speed. The couple and family were clearly relieved that the journey did not end before it began.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” – Habakkuk 2: 3 (KJV)

The testimony will more than compensate for the delay.
