SON SHINE 168: COSTLY DELAY
The naming ceremony provided the setting for the needed inroad. The host, a rich man, was neither born again nor a member of the church, but his wife, was. The feasting ended with the brethren promising to return for the crucial evangelism for the salvation of the man. It never happened. It was a shocked church that heard after sometime that the man died. They could only regret not acting timely.
?Charge them are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy?Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay old on eternal life. ? ? 1 Timothy 6: 17, 19 (KJV)
Every second counts.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
