SON SHINE 381: STANDSTILL
It started with a crawl on this last stretch of a six-hour trip. Within minutes the four-lane highway transformed as vehicles decelerated and joined the queue. Those skilled in manoeuvres attempted an extra lane which positioned them on the path of oncoming traffic till there was a gridlock. Siren-blaring cars with a full complement of dare-devil footmen dispersed vehicular obstacles till they too confronted reality. The wise and able managed to reverse at dusk to the nearest town, leaving the majority to the uncertainties of the forest. We got home 21 hours after it all began.
?For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.? – Proverbs 23:18 (KJV)
That challenge will not last forever.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
