By the time he travelled back abroad he had survived disparaging rumours of his mode of return to the country at the expiration of his visa. He went through a phase of discomfiting church assignments that nearly broke his spirit. By the time he returned abroad things moved rapidly in his favour effectively wiping off the pains of the transition months. Some of those who disdained him have had cause to seek and get his help in his new season.
