His call came quite late. He had told me of a qualification in the course of an earlier call but just could not sleep and had to call again to explain that the qualification he had was not the one he inadvertently mentioned. Such things, he said, mattered to him and had to be settled. It was a lesson that there are still brethren who take seriously the responsibility of working out their salvation daily.
