SON SHINE 19: A WIFE?S SACRIFICE
The rifle-wielding soldier moved to hit me, but my wife jumped between us fast enough to be the one whipped, pleading with him simultaneously to be merciful. Our offence was walking over a piece of wood supposed to signal that the walkway in front of the electricity authority?s office was out of bounds. After sitting on the bare floor as commanded by the two soldiers, during which my wife raced to the naming ceremony we were returning from – for help (before any accidental discharge from the guns of the threatening soldiers with blood-shot eyes), and pleas by many intercessors, we were released to sin no more.
?Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord? ? Proverbs 18: 22 (KJV)
Remember those moments and be grateful for your spouse/neighbour.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
