The attempt to preach to the elderly lady almost went awry, as I referred her to 1 Thessalonians 5: 16. She immediately corrected me, citing 1 Thessalonians 5: 17 as the correct verse on prayer. It was a wake-up call.

?Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.? ? 2 Timothy 2: 15 (KJV)
