The only cab driver who agreed to make the night connecting trip was not exactly encouraging talking about how risky the route was and had charged almost double the cost of the flight ticket as his ransom. The journey of faith through unlit highwaay with occasional security checks turned out to be remarkably smooth even as we made it through a city said to be the den of the hard ones.
