The first course came with its compelling variety of mouth-watering offers, with the famished pouncing on their early afternoon victims. Then the next course came in batches, as the table filled up with delicacies begging for attention. By the time the third course surfaced, enthusiasm had waned. The remnants spoke of the boxer exhausted before the real fight started.

“ …give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, Lest I be full and deny You and say, Who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor and steal, and so profane the name of my God.” –  Proverbs 30:8-9 (Amplified Bible)
