SON SHINE 1040: COMFORTER

Parishioners found him a ready source of comfort and met him with their many issues in need of resolution. But they had no idea what he was dealing with, as the sermons kept rolling out with impact from the pulpit in every service. When he would open up on the crippling challenges he was dealing with later, they were in shock. Nothing about him told of the battles he was facing as he worked to provide relief to others.

“For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.”  Hebrews 4:15 (Amplified Bible)    

Life in the Spirit often defies logic
