SON SHINE 707: GLISTENING

It sparkled in the hazy midday sun; not even the mild harmattan wind raised enough dust to taint the sheen. Some distance away, was another battle-weary version of the same car model, which had apparently just endured the panel-beater’s intensive care. At a time when this car had become a rare presence on the streets of cities with the latest vehicles, and ever-moving traffic, here it was, making a statement in this suburbia.

“ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you — rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!” Isaiah 60:1 (Amplified Bible)
