SON SHINE 778: RIPPED

His ripped jeans hung tight, leaving gaping holes on both knees, beneath which were patches of dark flowered cotton. The dreadlocks, rough enough to make the heavy beard look somewhat smoother, synced with the dark sunglasses. A multi-coloured but mainly black canvass, and a dark T-shirt, completed the picture for this current fan of “Cool and the Gang”. It didn’t quite matter what any old-fashioned folk thought: here was the poster boy of a sometimes inexplicable present, ever unable to predict the shape of the next fad.

If only we spend half that time to impress God
