SON SHINE 1031: NEARLY

The build-up of cars appeared to signal another season of scarcity, with a couple of stations on the same route out of supply. But he had managed to drive into this expansive station, where the tank hit zero, and he had to push his van till it was his turn at the only pump servicing his queue. By the time he was served and his vehicle roared back to life, he drove off, likely thankful for not hitting rock bottom at a location where help was nowhere near.
