He tried to enjoy the most of his freedoms, taunting the diligent and those he considered fixated on programmed success. His conviction was to keep harvesting from others without bothering to sow, and he got his wishes and achieved mediocrity. When others reaped the fruit of investments during the years that mattered, he was left to wait for the crumbs from the table of those whom he mocked as too ignorant to know how to enjoy life.
“Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.” Galatians 6:8 (New Living Translation Bible)
