The male flight attendant grabbed immediate attention after the initial crackle of the speakers. He was mesmerising with his wit, eulogies and effusive hype of the airline he worked for, and the crew and cabin, starting with a federal legislator he had sighted. He capped his dramatic commentary with a walk through the aisle, acknowledging the adulation of fans who were meeting someone who was showing many others with fatter pay cheques, that enjoying the job you do is an act of gratitude.

“I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well.”  Psalm 139:14 (New Century Bible)
