She had a fashion sense that spoke to the trendy and contemporary. Skin care, shape and face mattered the most and these were nurtured with a passion. Then she gave birth and the shift was remarkable. Although she still aligned with the trendy, the flab had set in and her joy was less on self and more on watching the fruit of her womb blossom and flourish.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:21 (Amplified Bible)
