SON SHINE 727: FLATTENED
SON SHINE 727: FLATTENED
He laid sprawled on a tarred road taken over by a motley crowd, his voice piercing through the noise, as he shouted repeatedly: “have mercy on me, because of God”. As dusk set in, the desperate call for alms of this paraplegic, meant little. People avoided him, with some almost trampling him, consumed by their mission, and eager not to remain in a known danger zone, when night falls.
“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus … have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, …have mercy on me…And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called.” – Mark 10:47-49 (King James Bible)
The heat of life hardly cares for the weak
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
