SON SHINE 765: SHOES
It glistened on the rack, its newness and bright colour, contrasting sharply with the similarly new, but more sober collection. Its purchase, months earlier, came after sweaty efforts to get the initially preferred slightly deeper hue. But the shoe was never to be worn by the feet they were meant to serve. Those feet, found greener pastures, in a land where shoes – no matter the fertile imagination of their designers, or cost, are a misfit for streets of gold.
