SON SHINE 776: TONER

As she paced the aisle, stopping to sort a detail, the lightness of her face showed impacts – at close range. There was a paleness, and lesions, the product of chemical reactions, which left the skin vulnerable. Although the aim was to beautify, the creams had taken their toll, with unexciting prospects of future possibilities. But the facials had apparently gone beyond a choice, to a routine. And in matters like that, even friends find it difficult to lay the facts bare, to avert the prospects of adverse reactions.    

“Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [m not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you — unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?” 2 Corinthians 13:5 (Amplified Bible)

There is no examination better than self-examination
