SON SHINE 783: INDICATOR

Movement was a struggle, and the tell-tale signs pointed to a major system dysfunction. The drugs appeared weak, against the ravages of a foe that defied the expertise of an icon in the speciality. Then it got worse, occasioning hospitalisation. In an inexplicable twist that put a lie to the emphatic declaration of a doctor, who in the course of a ward round, gave a worst case scenario as the best to expect, the recovery started. That was years ago: she was healed and made whole.
