There was intensity in the tone, as the voice pierced the stillness of the dark hours – just before dawn. It was past 5am. As he rolled out in tongues, the pace and variety, revealed a consciousness of a fierce ongoing battle. It was the heart cry of one who had learnt not to take any day for granted. After probably witnessing the merciless sting of life’s troubles, his was a resolve to avoid the next pain, with the full cover of the Man of War.

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, saying, Jesus, Son of David, have pity and mercy on me [p now]!.” Mark 10:47 (Amplified Bible)    

Desperation separates needs from wants
