The snowflakes – massed in concentrates in the bright late afternoon sun, freed the horizon of a kaleidoscope of blue and white stripes, as the aircraft floated above the greenery below. But the moments of contact, shook the innocence off the whiteness of the cloudy formation. The wing – looking frail, however, remained fixed to the body of the big bird which just kept gliding, appearing unruffled by weather conditions.
