She sat helpless inside the small car unable at this public hospital to turn the tide as life ebbed from the patient she came with. A medical staff only managed a short conversation after which she was left alone. Then she started to sob humming a chorus that sounded more like a dirge in an expression of a wish that appeared unrealisable. With the place brimming with the sick and those made sick by the condition of loved ones, no one offered her a shoulder to lean on.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” – Revelation 21: 4 (KJV)

There will be no crying there.
