SON SHINE 642: ALMOST
The cashier scrutinized the paper, looked up and asked if the initial payment before this stage had been made. The client first hesitated, replying that he didn?t know, following it with ?not quite?, before saying ?no?. It occurred to him he was about to lie to someone he shouldn?t ordinarily be scared of, in a situation he even had control over. He left the place relieved that he quickly recognised the implications of the trap he almost fell into.
?Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.? ? 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV)
