The boy?s white T-shirt had the inscription ?Affliction?. With an electronic device in full control of his ears, he continued to move to the rhythm only he heard even as the rest of us waited hours to get attention on this clumsy queue. He was oblivious of what the inscription on his shirt was doing to me as I kept wondering how anyone even as an expression of popular culture could opt to wear affliction as an expression of liberty.
