SON SHINE 469: SIDELINED
He was 40 and stuck in a vocation which belied an intellectual capacity and alertness which shone in minutes of interaction. With only two years of any kind of schooling his English and diction were elevated and he confessed to having learnt all that he knows by being curious enough. Now married with children, his hopes of a fundamental shift in fortune were narrowing. He appeared condemned to life on the sidelines in an environment where those with opportunities are ruthlessly greedy.
?I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.? ? Ecclesiastes 9: 11 (KJV)
It takes God to change the tide.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
