SON SHINE 4: BEYOND ASSUMPTIONS

SON SHINE 4: BEYOND ASSUMPTIONS

SONSHINE EDITIONS

The guest minister at the inaugural service in the expansive church building that morning in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria, told of how a pastor wanted to be sure of the status of the church staff. He found after the test, that 10 out of 17 of them were HIV positive. It was a rude awakening, a reminder that the house of God is afflicted with the scourge of a world still searching for already available redemption in Jesus, choosing the wages of sin (sometimes ignorance), to the embrace of a loving and compassionate God.

?For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God?and if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?- 1 Peter 4: 17-18
