The enthusiasm for the things around him had drained but he was this day decked in a ceremonial outfit as admirers joined his large family to lead him to the altar in thanksgiving. Slightly bent over as he walked slowly or stood to cut the cake at a reception, he managed a faint smile maybe once. There was this look of disinterest in the glamour and noise, as his sights appeared set on the future which beckoned with urgency than the celebrations which apparently had lost their meaning.

Now is the time to begin to embrace reality
