The tension was obvious as candidates dressed in their best and betraying varying levels of confidence, responded to questions from an intimidating panel of interviewers. His was a settled case, having confidently given the wrong answers to most of the questions. Then someone pointed to his potential, supported by a second opinion. The next thing was a decision to re-assess the candidate. He got the job.
