SON SHINE 836: TIGHT

The rugged path to the market gate was busier this lockdown eve, with an overflowing car park, complicating the dilemma of last minute shoppers. It was a virtual standstill, and the lone car attempted an escape, crossing to the lane for outgoing vehicles, but was blocked at the rear by a parked car, till a young man appeared. He guided the difficult exit, shouted as a tricycle tried a manoeuvre, narrowly avoiding a crash, till the car made it to the road. As the handsome youth waved, smiling at mission accomplished – without asking to be rewarded, he returned to the market, only voicing his wish to own a car someday.

“God said to Moses, “I will show kindness to anyone to whom I want to show kindness, and I will show mercy to anyone to whom I want to show mercy.” So God will choose the one to whom he decides to show mercy; his choice does not depend on what people want or try to do.” –  Romans 9:15-17 (New Century Bible)

It is evident, when God sends a helper       

Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
