SON SHINE 853: YET

A sweaty day of toil had further darkened his now greasy face, but he trudged on, as the residual rays from distant floodlights, nearby billboards, and the bright and dim from slow moving traffic, broke through the monotony of this gridlock night. His fruit packs did not attract any calls, as he meandered between exotic cars, hoping for a lucky break. Then someone signalled interest, but not for his goods. But he reached out, ensuring that he connected his fortunate co-trader with the customer, and knowing that his time would come, even if on another day.

“Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up.” – Galatians 6:9 (Contemporary English Bible)
