SON SHINE 118: WEEDS WORTH
The building once housing a gospel church stood lonely and roofless on the busy street, overgrown with weeds. As we raced past what looked like a once beautiful structure, it occurred to me that at some point, the owner may have bought the land and possessed it after contending with other claimants; he may have built the house denying himself and family of basic needs; he may have become hypertensive over the price of building materials, while contending with cheating site workers or supervisors; he may have?
?Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them?He is like a man which built an house , and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.? ? Luke 6: 47-48 (KJV)
Wondering about the true worth of our toil?
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
