The barely five-year old, wondered aloud if her young playmate thought they were mates, threatening to slap sense into her brain. A repeat of the threat a short while later, only heightened the tension. But just as their hearers were still trying to figure what the matter was, the tone changed, and a nursery rhyme filled the air. The two had returned to friendly ways.

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.” –  Luke 18:17 (King James Bible)
