It was past 10pm when the meeting ended and I had to get a rare cab in the poorly lit front of the five-star hotel. Then the driver of a dark S-Class embassy Mercedes-Benz car with tinted glasses, pulled up and called me out of the group to hop in, after asking where I was going. I hesitated, but in a moment of unexplainable bravery entered, gingerly asking some questions to which the driver responded. He got me to my destination several kilometers away, courteously refused my offer to pay for the ride and drove into the night.
