She crossed the road barefoot as the searing heat of the previous days was again building up. As she advanced towards the rousing market, evading messy spots and skipping puddles, the small wrapped nylon remained steady on her head. There were enough forlorn faces around her that also appeared unsure of what the day held, bur she knew there was no home to go to if expectant family members had nothing on the table by night. 

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” Job 14:7 (King James Bible)    

Sometimes, it gets too overwhelming to imagine tomorrow
