He had gone to the morgue to ensure that his benefactor and confidant was properly preserved. In an attempt by the attendant to swap slabs, the concerned relation saw a compelling sight: It was that of a woman he acknowledged twice as beautiful. In the midst of the dead, there was still something remarkable.
