SON SHINE 1066: GRIPPED

The seven-month old baby was unresponsive, unwilling to separate from the mother as it watched the visitor. When various antics to get the child’s attention failed. the stranger offered a piece of the highest denomination which the toddler grabbed without disengaging from the mother. The money was still in its firm grip when the giver left to explore other possibilities for lasting friendship.

“…But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.”  Matthew 6:32-33 (The Living Bible)    

There is a void that money cannot fill
