SON SHINE 1071: LIMP

The old woman walked with a limp, making her way slowly with some support to the front of the altar, as the congregation surged to give their thanksgiving offering. But she returned unaided, swaying to the rhythm, as the choir belted one popular gospel tune after the other. With her now strengthened feet, she relished the joy of salvation which gets sweeter with age.

“And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.”  Psalm 27:6 (King James Bible)
