It had been a fortnight since his vehicle waddled through the terrain made worse by weather conditions and different categories of vehicles. The months of anticipation were over. In its worst, the state of the road had become the name by which wayfarers identified anything in that belt. But in its new state, no one remembered the months and days of pain and hopelessness.

“Restore our fortunes, O Lord, as you restore streams to dry riverbeds in the Negev…Those who cry while they plant will joyfully sing while they harvest.” –  Psalms 126:4-5 (God’s Word Translation Bible)    

Years of pain disappear when prayers are answered
