SON SHINE 1096: VALUABLES
Immigration formalities had compelled passengers to declare how much they had in hard currency, after checking in luggage filled with valuables. For most, getting to this point equated with a camel passing through the needle’s eye. But the announcement put it all in perspective. Passengers were told to leave even their luggage behind in case of emergency, and escape with their lives only.
