SON SHINE 415: SURETY
His confidence in his teacher colleague?s innocence made him a willing surety when the man was detained for alleged stealing based on a neighbour?s report. All he knew of his friend was a gentleman who couldn?t possibly be associated with any kind of evil. Then the man absconded and he was detained. By the time a relation bailed the guarantor; he had not only become sober but learnt the value of the gift of discernment.
?He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.? ? Proverbs 11: 15 (KJV)
The more you know God, the more you understand man.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
