She stood on the long queue right in front of him at the busy bus station. He was visiting from his foreign station, and the conversation as they sat together in the bus thereafter, got more personal, culminating in an exchange of numbers. His first marriage proposal hit a brick wall, but his promise to discontinue the relationship if she turned down the initial request, did not last. He contacted her again after an interval, acknowledging that he could not find peace in any other alternative. This time, it clicked.
