SON SHINE 1008: PRESERVED

The bag had been disabled by a cracked roller even before the trip, necessitating some patch-up. As its owner despaired at the arrival hall, wondering if it did not come with the flight, he heard his name, went with the airline ground staff, and saw the luggage, unzipped at the edges, but intact and exposed. With so many possibilities in a season of uncertainties, he was grateful that nothing of security interest had found its way into the box.

“Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages.”  –  Isaiah 49:8 (King James Bible)
