SON SHINE 1037: AGING

The motley gathering of admirers huddled around him. It was a mix of familiar ones who came united to celebrate their icon. Right in front was one who was now all grey, but used to walk with a bounce. Besides was a lady whose body mass appeared to have been tampered by age, sitting next to her soulmate. The wrinkles were obvious here; the baldness a bit more pronounced there. The stoical gaze combined with the philosophical nods, and when it was time to sing and dance to the altar, the pace was slow. The years were counting; and the days of the vibrant youth were now for memories only.
