The age-induced shrink had set in. In her ash and pink blend and assorted but simple jewellery, she exuded subdued prosperity. When the praise session kicked-in, she sprang to her feet, swaying to the rhythm with hands up in the air. The slightly sunken eyes, evident veins running down those frail hands were the externals; her smiles spoke deeply of an encounter that words could not quite express.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” –  Psalms 16:11 (King James Bible)    

Real joy is in His presence
