The man in suit obliged the cabin crew, but the grey-bearded gentleman turned down the offer to occupy the empty seats near the emergency exit. Then another thickset man relocated, ready to pay the price. Despite his age, the more elderly of the three was clearly unwilling to be the first to meet his God before others in the plane – in case of any eventuality.
