The tenant renovated the apartment to the tune of almost double the annual rent. It was a pleasant surprise to the landlord who had no clue anything was happening to the structure. When the rent which had not changed once in years was due, the man paid extra with a little nudge. Although he didn’t voice it, the tenant appeared grateful that he had evidently prospered beyond his expectation in that house.
