He got his wish and was allocated a window seat to the rear of the aircraft. But as he signalled to the passenger who had taken the seat to make way, another lady approached to plead that she be allowed to take the same seat so she could be close to a friend she had not seen in a long while. He obliged by taking a seat by the aisle which heinitially wanted to avoid.

There may be no other opportunity to give what you want to meet a need
