SON SHINE 117: LONGING EYES

SON SHINE 117: LONGING EYES

SONSHINE EDITIONS

Her begging eyes penetrated my being as she sat on the mud floor in the midst of household utensils, looking malnourished and unhappy,. A plate of local cereal was the only evidence there was food around, but even that was within the secure reach of another woman. Across a low fence, a woman told of how the parents of the girl were killed by armed robbers on their way to a function in a nearby town a while back, leaving her at the mercy of equally struggling neighbours.

?Which now of these?was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.? ? Luke 10: 36-37 (KJV)

The helpless are many in the land.
Let the Son shine in your heart daily.
